| Duties, responsibilities & candidate spec | Our Client is a leading independent medical equipment supplier to the UK and Republic of Ireland. With 38 years of experience in the veterinary market, we deliver innovative X-ray solutions, consumables and extensive knowledge from a team of dedicated professionals. Key Activities include: -Obtaining sales orders to meet company objectives by the use of professional sales skills. -To build and maintain good working relationships with customers whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times. -To maintain and nurture the existing customer installed base to maximise company turnover and profit. -Prospect new business by continuously looking for new opportunities for all products and services. -To compile and co-ordinate details of competitor activity and market trends within the territory. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of x-ray or the Veterinary market or Capital equipment sales. Along with at least one of the essential requirements, above, previous sales experience from any industry would be an advantage. Personal skills should include: -Articulate, professional, well presented and with good business acumen. -Good knowledge of the market and competitor activity. -Computer literate, good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Previous use of a CRM system would be an advantage. -Pro-active and independent with a high level of self confidence and drive. |
